The Mechanical Organ Owners Society (MOOS) organizes annual tours for enthusiasts of mechanical music, offering unique opportunities to explore historic instruments, visit private collections, and engage with expert restorers. These tours typically span several days and are characterized by exclusive access to notable mechanical organs and related cultural experiences.
It's a chance to see and hear so many collections and instruments, visit the workshops of organ builders, and also experience a marvellous social atmosphere, which a coach full of organ enthusiasts enjoying great food, drink and chat (and music!).
These tours are designed to immerse participants in the rich heritage of mechanical music, providing exclusive access to instruments and collections not typically available to the public. MOOS fosters a community of enthusiasts, offering members regular newsletters, magazines, and events to deepen their appreciation of mechanical organs.
